Welcome to the world of Apel Beats. Using live guitar and an EDM production style, I interweave organic and digital elements to create something I'm truly proud of. My albums, singles, and remixes showcase my journey and chart my progress as a songwriter and producer. Foundations EP is my latest release (May 2025) and is a great place to start. The "Substratum" album showcases the Apel Beats sound and features some of my favorite songs to play live. Enjoy!
Foundations EP
Released May 2025, Foundations EP is a four-song journey built on experimentation and introspection. Why the name "Foundations"? This EP is the first of a four EP masterwork planned for 2025/2026. Each song is a building block, a snapshot of thoughts and ideas rooted in a unique part of my story that I plan to build on as I grow. Track 1 is called "Justaposition" and is a bold blend of rock influences crossed with my deep love for bass music and huge EDM sound design. It is probably the weirdest on the album, and is also the one I'm most proud of. Tracks 2 and 3 showcase my love for crossing funk and soul with EDM sounds. And Track 4 takes on a magical and mysterious persona. We are all growing and evolving as the world slowly changes around us. Having solid foundations makes it possible to change while staying rooted to what makes us unique. I hope my music inspires you to consider your roots and foundations as you push toward your dreams.

Released in 2016, this project was my transition into bass design and more complex EDM production skills. Songs range from funky to deep and pensive.
The Stuff Stasher
Released in 2012, this LP showcases the signature Apel Beats sound. At the time I wanted guitars on everything. Guess I still do!
Swift Technique Remixes
I partnered with Philadelphia's Swift Technique to create funky remixes for three of their songs. Rt 1 to Rt 1 was the remix that started it off!
Rise (Pellz Bellz)
I teamed up with my friend and fellow bandmate Chris Belden to create the production duo Pellz Bellz - Featuring his live saxophone and my live guitar - this album slaps!

DataJack Soundtrack
DataJack is a cyber-punk stealth and hacking game made single-handedly by my friend Rickshaw through his independently run company, Epic Banana. Released on Steam platform in 2021. Original Soundtrack by yours truly.
Jungle Fungus
This is Jungle Fungus - written on the principle that decay is essential to existence. In an ecosystem, a species gaining too much power ultimately becomes food for another. It will be consumed, broken down into its basic elements, and recycled into new life. Music is also constantly broken down and recycled as part of a diverse and interconnected social ecosystem. So open your ears and prepare for a parasitic invasion of the Jam-Hop persuasion!
